He married Evangelina (Moreno) Rosales on June 24, 1970 in Bono, Ohio and they were married until she passed away on December 31, 2019.

She was a 1969 graduate of Waite High School and worked at Rexam Can Co. in Whitehouse, Ohio retiring in October of 2005 after 30 years.
