Donald Gibson, age 58, of Hoytville, Ohio, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, August 15th at his home residency of natural causes. He was born in 1964 to the late Harry Isaac Gibson, and Patricia Jean Couts.
Nancy Ann Rudolph, 88 of Perrysburg, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born June 21, 1935 to Max and Margaret (Ulrich) Fulks in Chillicothe, Ohio. Nancy graduated from The Ohio State University where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. A highlight of her university days was her time as a member of the Elite Symphonic Choir, with which she did a concert tour of Europe and competed in the International Choral Contest, Eisteddfod, in Llangollen, Wales. They were unique and highly praised for singing in scrambled position.
Daniel J. Slater, 57, former resident of Weston and Genoa, Ohio, passed away Saturday evening, August 12, 2023, at his home in Elmore, Ohio. He is the son of James F. and Sharen N. (Klein) Slater, born in Toledo, Ohio on September 19, 1965. He graduated from Genoa Area Local Schools in 1984 and attended Terra State Community College. He received his journeyman’s card as an industrial electrician and worked for several area companies.
Deloris Ellen Reitzel, 97, Bowling Green, died Aug. 14, 2023.
Holly S. Whalen, 48, of Plainfield Illinois, passed away on Thursday August 10, 2023. Holly was born on December 22, 1974, to William and Joyce (Schulter) Stennett. She married Jeremy Whalen in September of 2009, and he survives in Plainfield, Illinois.

Ruth Jean Van Wormer, 98, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away peacefully August 5, 2023 after a long illness. She was born April 4, 1925 in North Baltimore, Ohio to the late John and Clara (Mollenberg) Wales. On September 17, 1949 she married Glenn Van Wormer, who preceded her in death February 21, 1997.
Helen M Gobrogge, 79, of Weston, Ohio passed away on August 5, 2023 at Brookdale Clare Bridge of Bowling Green. She was born on February 3, 1944 to the late William and Hilda (Dachenhaus) Fintel in Napoleon, Ohio. She married Melvin Gobrogge on September 30, 1961, and they were together until he passed away in 1996.
Stephen “Steve” Dana Long, 41, beloved son of Dana and Linda (Fork) Long of Gibsonburg, brother of Kerry (Michael) Jones, and uncle to Jameson Jones, passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2023 in Granger, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Betty Long, and Ralph and Lucille Fork.
Dennis “Zeke” Zalinski, 75, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on August, 2, 2023. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 29, 1947 to the late Anthony and Adeline (Wierzbicki) Zalinski. He married Barbara (Snell) Zalinski on August 21, 1971 and she survives him.
