BOWLING GREEN — Marla Ann David, 87, passed away September 6, 2023 due to surgery complications after suffering a heart attack. She was born in Toledo on May 29, 1936 to Oliver and Dorothy (Walrod) Grothaus. Marla was a lifelong resident of northwest Ohio, first in rural Sylvania and later in rural Bowling Green, and enjoyed winters in Venice, Florida for the last 20 years.
GRAND RAPIDS — Raymond Omar Wright, a highly respected funeral director/embalmer, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 1:13 p.m. with his wife, Nancy, at his bedside, at Clare Bridge-Brookdale in Bowling Green, Ohio. Ray was born on January 13, 1942, in Lorain, Ohio, to Omar O. and Anna P. (Lorence) Wright. Ray married Nancy Petteys on June 13, 1964.
WESTON — Gladys Mae Bollenbacher, 92, of Weston, Ohio passed away September 2, 2023 with her daughter Karlyn at her side. Gladys was born on August 20, 1931 to the late Fred and Marie (Duesler) Hollopeter in Cygnet, Ohio. She married Richard “Dick” Bollenbacher on March 18, 1951 and he preceded her in death on December 28, 1985.
VAN BUREN — Ryan Ray Evans, 53, of Van Buren, passed away at 12:53 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born on June 7, 1970, in Findlay to Thomas and Gail (Mossbarger) Evans of Van Buren. He married Monica Gazarek on April 21, 2020, and she survives.

BOWLING GREEN — Vera Evelyn (Green) Roe, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born May 29, 1923 to Stanley and Laura Green. She graduated from Tontogany High School and attended beauty school. After she received her license, she worked at Monty’s in Bowling Green as a beautician.
NORTH BALTIMORE — William “Bill” A. Emahiser, 67, of North Baltimore, passed away at 2:35 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born on February 20, 1956, in Bowling Green to the late Arthur L. “Tony”, Sr. and Helen I. (King) Emahiser.
Patricia L. Gorrill Dauterman, age 81, of Portage, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green. She was born on April 7, 1942, to the late Loyd R. & Zora L. (Scovill) Hartley. Pat married Daniel T. Gorrill on January 28, 1961, in Wayne, and he preceded her in passing on April 15, 2007. She then married Rodney C. Dauterman on October 14, 2017, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee by Pastor Kirby.
Judson Porter Spore, Jr., formerly of Sandusky as well as Huron and Perrysburg, Ohio, was born January 17, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri to Judson P. Spore, Sr. and Ruth E. Spore, née Knapp, and passed August 4, 2023.
