Edward Grant Stockwell, 88, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away in his sleep, Monday May 16, 2022, at Heritage Corner Health Care Campus. He was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts on June 11, 1933, to the late Dr. Frank W. and Margaret (Winters) Stockwell. Ed was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years Janet (Wiranis), and siblings Frank, David, and Marsha.
Thomas Edward Tinney, age 79, of Perrysburg, OH passed away June 6, 2022. He was born October 20, 1942, five houses from where he lived his entire life, to William and Betty (Elderman) Tinney. Tom graduated from Rossford High School in 1960. He was employed as a troubleshooter for Toledo Edison for 33 ½ years. Tom was a member of the Rossford Eagles for 23 years.
MaryAnn Whitman Book, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Sunday June 5, 2022 after a 6 month battle with cancer, in the home of her daughter with her family by her side. She was born August 23, 1935 in Bowling Green to the late Lloyd and Ireni (Overly) Tyrrell. She married Ben L. Whitman on October 3, 1953 and he preceded her in death October 8, 1985. She later married Robert Book in 1993 and he preceded her in death in 2001.
John H. Bresler, age 84, of Bloomdale, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio. He was born on November 19, 1937, in Fostoria to the late Herman Phillip & H. Lucille (Klopp) Bresler. John married Paulette Schuerman on July 29, 1967, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Pemberville, Ohio.
Edward Eugene Shaull, Jr., age 63, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the Wood County Hospital. He was born on August 14, 1958, in Tiffin, Ohio to the late Edward E. & Nancy Lou (Morehart) Shaull.
Jerry Alan Gilliland, 66, of Wayne, OH, passed away on June 4, 2022 surrounded by his loving family in Bonita Springs, FL.
Carl Leonid Christensen, 60, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Monday, May 30, 2022. He was born May 7, 1962, in Bowling Green, Ohio to Harold and Doris (Hablitzel) Christensen. In 2005 he married Evelyn “Evvie” Dolores Daly. In addition to his wife, Evvie, Carl is survived by his mother, Doris, siblings: Eric (Kimberly) Christensen, David (Diane) Christensen and Susan Christensen, 4 stepchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Carl was preceded in death by his father, Harold Christensen.
Michael B. Miller, age 76, of Wayne, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green. He was born on September 19, 1945, in Piqua, Ohio to the late Floyd B. & Rowena (Grieve) Miller. Michael married Patricia Gilliland in 1968, and they later divorced.
Mary Ann (Gabrie) Messaros, age 89, of Bowling Green, Ohio, formerly Elyria, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Wood Haven Health Care, where she was a resident since November. Until the very end, Mary Ann kept her love of the Lord and family as well as outgoing spirit.
A Celebration of Life for Norma Hatfield Best will be held Saturday June 18.
