WALBRIDGE — A fire was reported in a garage Sunday evening.
Crews from Lake Township, Perrysburg Township, Allen-Clay, and the City of Northwood provided mutual aid for the call that came in around 6:12 p.m.
The home, at 5762 Moline-Martin Road, had water and smoke damage. The fire was contained in the garage and breezeway.
According to the Lake Township Fire Department, the owner of the home was eating dinner when he heard the smoke alarm go off in the breezeway of the home. When the owner opened the garage door, smoke poured through it.
No one was injured but the occupants will have to relocate to another home for the foreseeable future.
Crews left the scene around 9:23 p.m.
