Bowling Green police were dispatched Sunday to the hospital in reference to a sexual assault.
When officers arrived around 3:48 p.m., they spoke to the alleged victim who stated that they went out to the bars the night before, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.
The alleged victim stated that they went to a house party before the bars, drinking multiple alcoholic beverages at the house. The victim then went to several bars in town with her friends and drank alcohol throughout the night. At the final bar, she was approached by a male that she did not know, according to the report.
The alleged victim was told by her friends that the male seemed like a nice person. The male then followed the woman back home, when the male had sex with the her without her permission.
The alleged victim did not want to pursue charges, according to the report.
Officers got the phone number of the male. He picked up the phone when officers called his number and gave them false information, according to the report.
Officers tried calling the male again but he did not answer.
Officers informed the alleged victim to block the male, and to reach out to the police division if he contacts her again, according to the report.
