Trick or treat and other events in Wood County

Get a thrill or a chill at these community Halloween events.

To indicate participation in trick or treat, residents handing out treats are asked to turn on their porch lights. Drivers are asked to drive slowly due to the large number of pedestrians.

Trick or treat will be held:

Bairdstown: Oct. 31 6:30-8 p.m.

Bowling Green: Oct. 31 6:30-8 p.m.

Bloomdale: Saturday, 6:30-8 p.m.

Bradner: Saturday 5:30-7 p.m.

Custar: Oct. 30 6-7:30 p.m.

Cygnet: Oct. 31 6:30-8 p.m.

Grand Rapids: Saturday 4-6 p.m. Activities start at the new fire station at 6:30 p.m.

Haskins: Saturday 6-8 p.m.

Hoytville: Oct. 31 5:30-8 p.m.

Jerry City: Oct. 31 6-7:30 p.m.

Lake Township: Oct. 31 6-8 p.m.

Luckey: Oct. 31 6-7:30 p.m.

Millbury: Oct. 31 6-8 p.m.

Milton Center: Oct. 30 6-7:30 p.m.

North Baltimore: Oct. 31 6-7:30 p.m.

Northwood: Oct. 31 6-7:30 p.m.

Pemberville: Oct. 31 5:30-7 p.m.

Perrysburg: Oct. 31 6-8 p.m.

Perrysburg Township: Oct. 31 6-8 p.m.

Portage: Oct. 31 6:30-8 p.m.

Risingsun: Saturday 5-7 p.m.

Rossford: Oct. 31 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Tontogany: Oct. 31 5:30-7 p.m.

Walbridge: Oct. 31 6-8 p.m. On Saturday, the village will hold a kids costume parade starting at 1 p.m. at the library and ending at the Administration Buidling. “Hocus Pocus” will be shown in the Administration Buidling at 2 p.m. and Trunk or Treat will be held from 4-5 p.m. in the building’s rear parking lot.

Wayne: Saturday 6;30-8 p.m.

West Millgrove: West Millgrove is having trunk or treat October 26, from 4 to 6 pm.

Weston: Saturday 6-8 p.m.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office will host a Trunk or Treat on Oct. 28 from 6-7:30 p.m.

Stony Ridge will hold a Trunk or Treat at the Community Park on Oct. 31 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dress in costume for a chance to win a prize. There will also be a trunk decorating contest. Hot dogs, cider, doughnuts and hay rides.
