BG woman arrested for domestic violence

Bowling Green police were dispatched Saturday to the 200 block of East Napoleon Road for a report of domestic violence.

When officers arrived around 3:12 p.m., they spoke to the alleged victim who stated that they went to the grocery store with Michee Ramsey, 37, Bowling Green.

Ramsey allegedly grabbed the victim around the neck because the victim purchased the wrong bag of salad mix, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

The victim had red marks on both sides of their neck. When Ramsey and the victim were at their residence, Ramsey stated that she was miserable and wished that she would have died in her recent car crash. The victim rolled their eyes at Ramsey’s comment and was then stabbed with a fork by Ramsey, according to the report.

Ramsey left the residence after the alleged victim stated they were calling the police. Officers attempted to speak to Ramsey at her residence, but she did not answer.

Ramsey was arrested for domestic violence and was taken to jail.
