To the editor,
As we all know, we have a very important election coming up next month. With that in mind I really think this sums up where we are as a country.
I know our country has lost the 42% or so of Republicans to the MAGA group and the lies of Trump and Vance. The people I am pleading with is the remaining Republicans who feel they are deserting their party if they vote for Harris.
NO! You are NOT deserting your party; you are protecting your country. Your Republican party will still be there after you help Harris win, and it will be the kind of party you will be proud of. A party that stands for the values that made America great. A party that believes in compromise if it is going to better things for everyone. Please, help bring this “rejuvenated” Republican party into being by voting for Harris on election day.
