Man with fake ID arrested for disorderly conduct, underage/under the influence

Bowling Green police were on patrol Saturday in the 100 block of East Court Street when they observed a male vomiting profusely in City Lot 1.

Around 2 a.m., officers approached the male, identified as Mitchell Temple, 20, Van Wert.

According to the Bowling Green Police Division report, officers asked Temple for his driver’s license. Temple then took off running eastbound on East Court Street.

Temple was advised by officers to stop several times but continued running before being apprehended in the 100 block of East Wooster Street, according to the report.

Officers did a search on Temple and found a fictitious Indiana driver’s license. Temple’s real driver’s license was also found, according to the report.

Temple told officers that he consumed four alcoholic beverages and admitted that he used his fictitious Indiana license to purchase alcohol. Temple had a strong alcoholic odor and glossy eyes, according to the report.

Temple was arrested for disorderly conduct/intoxicated-unable to care for self, underage/under the influence of alcohol, obstructing official business and misrepresentation to obtain alcohol. He was taken to jail.
