Wood County Health Department joins Bookmobile stops

This fall, the new Wood County Health Department Mobile Clinic will join the WCDPL Bookmobile at the Haskins and Hoytville stops.

Visit the mobile health clinic at these bookmobile stops:

• Lusher Park in Haskins on Monday from 3-4 p.m.

• Near the Hoytville post office on Oct. 21 from 4:15-5:15 p.m.

The health department will offer free health screenings for adults, ages 18+, and participants will have the opportunity to chat with a nurse about their results following the screening. For children, there will be books and activities to take a look inside the human body. For example, did you know that you breathe out enough air each day to fill about 10,000 balloons?

For more information, call the library’s bookmobile department at 419-352-5104, ext. 221, or email [email protected].
