The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club has announce that Edmund A. Kruszynski, author of the best-selling book “The Medic’s Wife,” will be the guest speaker at its upcoming meeting on Thursday.

The event will take place at noon in the Slater Family Ice Arena Lounge on the Bowling Green State University campus. The public is invited to attend, with lunch available from 11:30 a.m. for $15.

“The Medic’s Wife” is a compelling story of love, war, and secrets, inspired by the true experiences of Kruszynski’s father during World War II.

Kruszynski, a Bowling Green State University graduate and retired executive from Procter & Gamble, will share the journey behind writing “The Medic’s Wife.” In his talk, he will explore how his father’s harrowing experiences as a medic during World War II inspired the narrative and the creative process of transforming those personal memories into a compelling and impactful story that resonates with readers.
