Bradner man arrested for domestic violence

Bowling Green Police were dispatched Monday to the 200 block of East Wooster Street for a report of a man punching a woman.

When officers arrived around 3:25p.m., they stopped a truck that was attempting to leave the scene, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

The driver was identified as Brett Rahe, 39, Bradner.

He told police he got in an argument with a female and that she grabbed his phone and threw it under the truck. He explained that the female punched him in the face and he slapped her back, according to the report.

Officers located the female behind the business.

A witness stated that she observed Rahe throw his phone behind his truck and punch the woman with a closed fist. She also told police she saw the female push Rahe, according to the report.

Both had been drinking, according to the report.

Rahe was arrested for domestic violence and was taken to jail.
