Bowling Green Police were dispatched Saturday to the 200 block of North Main Street for a criminal damaging report.
When officers arrived around 10:24 a.m., they spoke to the reporting party who stated that someone threw a glass jar of queso through the top window that is located on the east side of the building, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.
The reporting party showed officers the window and the room where the window is located. Pieces of broken glass were scattered all the way to the opposite wall of the window along with the queso sauce, according to the report.
Officers checked the stairs and the alley behind the building and could not locate any physical evidence, according to the report.
The reporting party, who owns the business, told officers that they fired an employee a month ago who was not happy about being let go.
The ex-employee denied breaking the window when speaking to officers, according to the report.
The business owner stated that they would repair the window, which was estimated to cost $300. At this time, this incident is closed unless further information is developed, according to the report.
