On Tuesday, Jolene Sabo will speak to the Exchange Club of Bowling Green about development in Northwood.
Sabo grew up in Bowling Green, but she has planted roots in Northwood over the last several years.
Starting her career in 2014 as a full-time police officer for Northwood, she worked road patrol for a few years before becoming the DARE/school resource and community officer. She switched to a part time position in 2020 as a code enforcement officer in the planning and zoning department with Northwood, and still maintains a community-oriented role as the liaison between businesses in Northwood and the Northwood Chamber of Commerce.
She will discuss the happenings in the City of Northwood, including the new Community Center, The Enclave mixed use development, and a growing number of residents for Northwood.
The Exchange Club meets at noon at the Bowling Green Country Club located at 923 Fairview Ave.
Guests are welcome to join club members for lunch. Cost for lunch is $13 per person.
