Bowling Green police were dispatched Wednesday to the 100 block of Liberty Street for a dispute.
Dispatch stated that a male and female were fighting and the female was on the ground, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.
When officers arrived around 4:33 p.m., they spoke with the male and female. The female told police that the male pushed her down on the porch and was not allowing her to enter the house, according to the report.
Matthew Winslow, 40, Bowling Green, was arrested for domestic violence and was taken to jail.
The female told officers that they have been married since March and have lived together since February. She stated that there have been previous domestic violent incidents between them, according to the report.
Both the male and female were drinking that night.
