Barbara J. Flood, 79, of Grand Rapids, Ohio passed away Monday July 1, 2024.
She was born on November 26, 1944, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to the late Lloyd and Charlotte (Guttier) Flood.
Barbara served her country proudly in the United States Army working in the psychiatric ward. She worked at Ford Maumee Stamping Plant for 26 years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, canoeing, yard work and spending time with her family and fur babies.
She was a member of the American Legion.
She is survived by her caregiver and friend, Georgie Bauer of Grand Rapids, Ohio her niece Sheryll Hughes, grand-niece Heather Delaney and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Esther Flood, brother William Flood, sister Kathleen “Kay” Hart, brother-in-law Ron Hart, and niece Dawn Spore.
Memorial contributions may be given to the PKD Foundation, PO Box 871847, Kansas City, MO 64187; or the Wood County Humane Society, 801 Van Camp Road, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
It was Barbara’s wishes that no funeral services be held for her.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio at 408 W. Wooster St.
