Explore virtual reality at the library

Explore virtual reality at the Wood County District Public Library. On Friday from 2-3 p.m., you can try Meta Quest’s Virtual Reality headsets and play collaborative games like Keep Talking and No One Explodes, or play with individual virtual experiences like roller coaster simulations, Fruit Ninja and more. Perfect for ages 13+.

Registration is required. Register for a 20-minute time slot at wcdpl.org/events. Only four people are allotted per time slot and space is limited.

Explore BG with a landmark scavenger hunt

Learn a little more about Bowling Green history this summer with the Wood County District Public Library’s BG Landmark Scavenger Hunt. Families can participate from July 1-8.

Pick up a landmark scavenger hunt sheet in the Children’s Place starting July 1. Families will have one week to visit all the locations in the scavenger hunt and return their sheet to be entered into a special raffle.

No registration is required. Pick up a sheet starting July 1, and turn in your sheet by July 8 to be entered into the raffle.

Courses are Tuesdays in July at 2 p.m. in the Learning Lab at the Bowling Green library.

Computers and equipment for each class are provided.
