Senior center offers events, lunch and dinner

The following events will take place next week at the Wood County Senior Center.

MEALS

Lunch: Monday, cream of broccoli soup or vegetable soup; Tuesday, beef tacos or chicken fajitas; Wednesday, hamloaf; Thursday, chicken patty or sausage patty; Friday, scalloped potatoes and ham or roasted vegetable lasagna

Dinner: Tuesday, honey mustard chicken; Wednesday, BBQ beef sandwich; Thursday, beef fajita tac

*Dinner reservations must be made y 2 p.m. the day you wish to attend.

No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost. Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute. A $2 suggested donation is appreciated for home delivered meals. All payments can be mailed to: Wood County Senior Center, 140 S. Grove Street, Bowling Green, OH 43402.

Join us for Acoustic Night on June 27 from 6-6:45 p.m. at the Wood County Senior Center. Musicians are welcome to play their acoustic guitar or other instruments for a more mellow and relaxing evening. Stop in to play or listen. If you are interested in playing a 15-minute time slot please register by calling 419-353-5661 or email [email protected]. Those 60 and over can attend dinner beforehand by registered with the Wood County Committee on Aging by 2 p.m. on June 27.
