On Saturday at approximately 6:34 a.m., troopers from the Bowling Green post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a serious injury crash that occurred on Interstate 75 near milepost 184 in Center Township.
Travis Sanders, 78, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, was driving a Kenworth T680 commercial tractor trailer unit south on I-75 when his vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, where it struck a median cable wire and guardrail before coming to rest in a ditch. Mr. Sanders was transported from the scene by Life Flight with serious injuries.
Impairment is not believed to be a factor.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted by Midcounty EMS, Life Flight, Wright’s Towing and the EPA.
This crash remains under investigation.
