Libby Barnett
The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Libby Barnett is the March Student of the Month.
She is the daughter of Michael and Rachel Barnett.
Barnett’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society and Spanish Honors Society. She played on the girls tennis team where she was a four year letter winner, two-year captain, and NLL Cardinal division Player of the Year in 2023. In addition to tennis, she is involved in the BGHS Musical, Madrigals, piano, and OMEA All-State choir. In 2022, Barnett was selected to represent BGHS at the Hoby Leadership Seminar.
Outside of school, Barnett is the student representative on the Downtown Forward Board that is run through the mayor’s office in Bowling Green. Additionally, she volunteers at Firefly Nights, Black Swamp Arts Festival, youth tennis lessons, and piano events. She currently has a job at Stone Oak Country Club as a tennis coach.
Barnett currently has a 4.34 GPA and has an ACT composite score of 30. After high school, she plans to attend Ohio State University and major in chemical engineering.
