The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club will meet Thursday at the Slater Family Ice Arena Lounge on the campus of Bowling Green State University. The public is invited.
The meeting will kick off at noon, with a lunch available for $15 starting from 11:30 a.m. onwards. As part of our Education Month, Kristin Muir, a reading specialist from Kenwood Elementary School, will be the guest speaker.
Muir will delve into the rewards and challenges of being a reading specialist, offering insights into the pivotal role of literacy education in shaping the academic journey of young learners. Her expertise and commitment to fostering a love for reading align perfectly with the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club’s mission to empower youth in the community.
