Pottery Perfection to offer ornament painting

FREMONT – Hydro dip a Christmas ornament in colorful paints with Pottery Perfection during Lights of Spiegel Grove on Thursday at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums.

Lights of Spiegel Grove is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Hayes Presidential is partnering with Pottery Perfection, a Fremont business, on the ornament activity. The cost is $9 per ornament and can be paid at the museum front desk the night of the event.

This activity is one of several festive offerings during the event. Admission is free.

Hayes Presidential will light the numerous festive Christmas lights throughout Spiegel Grove, as well as the large museum Christmas tree in the museum rotunda, at 6:15 p.m.

Carolers will sing beloved holiday songs throughout the event. Hot chocolate, popcorn and warming camp fires also will be available on the grounds.

Kris Kringle, as Santa was known during President Rutherford B. Hayes’ era, will make an appearance and meet with kids who’d like to tell him their wish list.
