Dorothy R. Winter, age 92, of Luckey, OH passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Genoa Retirement Village in Genoa. She was born on March 3, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH to Frank J. and Louise S. (Espach) Molique. She married Paul Winter, on April 9, 1960 in Toledo, OH. Dorothy and Paul were married nearly 60 years before Paul’s passing in January of 2020.
In addition to selling Avon, Dorothy also worked 17 years at the Country Inn Restaurant and for Bayside Boardwalk Catering. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, going to casinos and of course shopping. Her greatest joy remained her family, especially her grandkids. Dorothy survived by her sons: Frank (Mary) Reardon of Woodville, David Reardon of Luckey, Kenneth Reardon of Luckey and Steven (Laurie Williams) Winter of Luckey. Daughters: Connie Callahan of Florida, and Debora (Bobby) May of Northwood. 6 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her husband Paul, she was preceded in death by her parents. 1 Brother and 3 sisters.
Family and friends will be received 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., with a funeral service at 1 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Officiating will be Rev. Dee Baker. Dorothy will be laid to rest next to Paul in Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey, OH. Memorials may take the form of contributions to: a charity of the donor’s choice.
