Prep Roundup: BGHS track looking for distance, throws coach

0

Bowling Green High School is currently looking for help with its track coaching staff for the spring season. BGHS is in need of a throws coach that will work with the current throws coach to help develop athletes in the shot put, discus, and hammer.

BGHS is also in need of a distance coach to put together and execute a training plan to help athletes get to the next level. Both of these positions are paid, with practice times scheduled from 3:15 p.m. to 5-5:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, meets on Tuesdays and Fridays, and practice on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 10:30 or 11 a.m.

Experience is preferred but not required. If interested contact Scott Wisniewski at [email protected].

Boys soccer match

The Bowling Green High School boys varsity soccer game next Tuesday vs. Springfield at Bobcat Stadium has been moved from 7 p.m. to 5 p.m. because of an orchestra concert that night involving some BGHS athletes. The winner of that game will be the Northern Lakes League Cardinal Division champion.
