Tour BGHS after facilities presentation

The Bowling Green City School District invites the community to tour Bowling Green High School after the adjournment of the 6 p.m. special board meeting tonight.

Tour participants will gather in the Performing Arts Center lobby.

The board will meet in the Performing Arts Center to hear a presentation from DLR Group, Inc., and to get an update on the progress of the Facilities Master Plan Project, specifically the constructing of a high school and related facilities and renovating and improving existing district facilities.

The public is invited to attend but there will be no public participation.

Action is expected to be taken.

NIOT meets Thursday

The regularly scheduled monthly general meeting of Not In Our Town BG will be held virtually on Thursday at 3 p.m.

BG’s Human Relations Commission moves meeting

The Human Relations Commission meeting scheduled for Friday has been canceled and is rescheduled for Oct. 13 at 8 a.m. in council chamber 305 N. Main St.

Dennis, O’Dorisio hold constituent meeting

Bowling Green Councilmembers Jeff Dennis (At-Large) and Joel O’Dorisio (Ward 2) will be hosting a Ward 2 quarterly constituent meeting on Saturday at Juniper Brewing Company. The meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend.

The purpose of this meeting will be to gather feedback from residents about their priorities and concerns. Councilmembers Dennis and O’Dorisio will also share information and answer any questions about ongoing initiatives, including 2024 strategic goals, infrastructure improvements, rental regulations, and bike infrastructure.
