The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the new management of Dairy Queen, 434 E. Wooster St. This event is scheduled for Aug. 29 at 4 p.m. and is open to the public.
The ceremony will include congratulatory words from city representatives to welcome owners Manny and Doli Patel to their new location.
The Bowling Green location is the first in Ohio for the Patels, who own other Dairy Queen locations in Wisconsin. They were drawn to Bowling Green because of the store’s proximity to the Bowling Green State University campus. They provide food, as well as ice cream cakes and their signature Blizzard treats. Dairy Queen has also started an online cake ordering system.
