Larry L. Stebleton, 82, of Lexington, KY passed away on Thursday July 13, 2023. Larry was born to the late Ted & Betty Stebleton on June 7, 1941. Larry graduated from BGH school, graduating from BGSU with an accounting degree. He retired from the Lexinton Center Corp. as Director of Business affairs. He served his country in the U.S Army where he was a Captain with the 101st airborne. Larry was a loving compassionate man. He was an avid golfer and loved to help people. He volunteered his free time with the Lexington VA, the AARP helping the elderly file their taxes, working with teens & children at the Life Adventure Camp and his church, Trinity Hill United Methodist Church, doing whatever needed doing.
While attending BGSU Larry played football along with other sports. He was inducted into the BGSU Hall of Fame for football. Larry leaves behind his wife Sallie; children Elaine Stebleton and Stuart Stebleton; grandchildren, Christopher Scott Marion and Anthony Blake Stebleton; five great grandchildren; his sister, Shirley Potter Sheldrick, BG, OH.; sister, Mary L. Morrison, TN; and brother, Jerry Potter, MI.
Visitation will be held at Kerr Brothers Funeral in Lexington on Weds. July 19 from 4-8. A memorial service will be held at the same location on the 21at at 2. There will be a memorial service in Bowling Green at a later date.
