Robert “Bob” Heilman

Robert “Bob” Heilman, 87 of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on July 13, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo.

Bob was born June 11, 1936 in Perrysburg to the late Raymond and Luella (Kellermeier) Heilman. He married Mary Belle Hines on January 21, 1955.

Bob attended Perrysburg High School. He began his working career along side his father on their family farm, while working at Libbey Owens Ford. He went on to work at The Andersons, until his retirement after 45 years. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg, Ohio.

Bob was an extremely proud blood donor (238 Pints).

While his early hobbies were cars and horses, his greatest love was his family and attending his children and grandchildren’s sporting events. His great grandchildren always brought out a huge smile and twinkle in his eyes.

Surviving Bob is the “love of his life” Mary Belle, wife of 68 years; children Debbie (Mark) Jones, Bobby Heilman; grandchildren, Troy (Kelli) Jones, Todd (Ashley) Jones, Stacy Heilman, Jami (Daryl) Lewis, Ryan Heilman (Brynlee), Clay Heilman (Jamie); great grandchildren, Julia, Jack, Jacob, Gavin, Gracie, Trent, Zander, Jaxon, Cohen, Colbie, Jade, Huxlee, baby Heilman due Mar 2024 and Layla; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his son Jimmy, parents, siblings, Lucille, Dorothy, Margaret, Anne, Norm and Thelma.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 3-7 pm at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E South Boundary, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133).

His funeral mass will be on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Rose Catholic Church, 217 E. Front Street, Perrysburg, Ohio. Interment will follow at St. Rose Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Bob’s family would especially like to thank Aimee (Comfort Keepers), Michelle and April of Hospice Northwest Ohio. Your care, compassion and love shown to Bob will never be forgotten.
