A Perrysburg man operating a motorcycle was seriously injured after a Saturday crash.
At 7:30 p.m., Wood County sheriff deputies responded to the one-vehicle crash on Ohio 65 near Ohio 235.
Adam Shank, 38, was travelling east on Route 65, failed to maintain control on a curve and put his Yamaha on its side.
He then slid across the road and struck a guardrail, rebounded and came to rest on the center line of the roadway.
He was wearing a helmet, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office crash report.
He was taken by Northwest 190 to Toledo Hospital with suspected serious injuries.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
Shank was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control, driving under suspension and no operator’s license.
