Set Sail for Disaster: Murder Mystery Event. Looking for a way to test role-playing skills and get into character for the evening? Set sail on a pleasure cruise by Captain Michael Von Ammon. The guest list includes a number of the captain’s friends, family members and business associates, as well as the crew of the captain’s virtual 60-foot yacht, the Elizabeth May. Enjoy an evening cruise with refreshments, appetizers and dancing. Register for this cruise and receive character information ahead of time. Do not share with anyone the character information. Attend the event dressed in character and be prepared to mingle and act through the evening. Use the clues to figure out the murder mystery that takes place afoot the ship. The event will take place on Aug. 28 from 3-5 p.m. at the Wood County Senior Center. Event is sponsored by Bowling Green Manor.
