Vy “Violet” Marie Tinsley
Vy Tinsley passed away July 10, 2019, at the Bowling Green Care Center, Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was born on December 18, 1938 , to John and Ruth (Zimmerman) Tinsley, in Maumee, Ohio.
She was passionate about all aspects of art, and enjoyed teaching painting with watercolors as a
long-time volunteer at the Wood County Senior Center.
Vy is survived by three cousins, Guy Zimmerman, CA; Gary Zimmerman, CA; and Johnette (Zimmerman) Thurman,
Bowling Green, Ohio.
At her request, there will be no visitation and services will be private.
We would like to thank the BG Care Center staff, nurses, aides and Dr. Wojciechowski for their
compassionate care of Vy. We would also like to thank the Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice for their
continued care, support and generosity.
The Newcomer SW Chapel is assisting the family with professional services.
