Paul E. Bowers

Paul E. Bowers, 78, of Sebring, FL and formerly of North Baltimore, passed away at 9:35 p.m. on Saturday,
April 27, 2019, at Somers Hospice House in Sebring, FL.
He was born on November 26, 1940, in Kenton, OH to the late Irvin and Nellie (Dughman) Bowers. He married
Sandra (Cunningham) Diem on June 15, 1985, and she survives.
Paul is also survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Bowers of North Baltimore and Susan (Rodney) McConahan
of Charlotte Hall, MD; his son, Aaron Bowers of North Baltimore; his stepdaughter, Theresa (Michael)
Hebert of Lake Worth, FL; his stepsons, Craig (Lori) Diem of Centerville, OH, Gary (Kathy) Diem of
Kingman, AZ and Tim (Janese) Diem of Deshler; 17 grandchildren, Megan, Kirsten, Jacob, Trent, Michael,
Mason, Madaline, Lindsey, Ashley, Danielle, Michelle, Tiffany, Whitney, Tessa, Garrett, Andrew and Erin;
nine great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Sharon (Ron) Washburn of Mesa, AZ and Joyce (Jay) Spence of
North Baltimore.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Robert and David Bowers.
Paul retired from Hancock Wood Electric.
He was a former North Baltimore Volunteer Fireman and former member of the North Baltimore Jaycees. He
was a former North Baltimore Little League baseball coach, and enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and
golfing.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North
Baltimore, with Reverend John Apple officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 3, at Smith-Crates Funeral Home.
