Ronald Ray “Bud” Trumbull,79 of Weston, Ohio passed away November 17, 2019.
He was born on April 29, 1940 to the late Emmitt and Nellie (Tolles) Trumbull in Milton Center, Ohio. He
married Sharon (Knapp) Trumbull on September 9, 1961 and she survives him in Weston.
Bud is also survived by his daughter, Rhonda (Andy) Bostelman; sons, Kevin Scott (Brenda) Trumbull and
Mark (Tammy) Trumbull, all of Weston; brother, Merle “Pete” Trumbull; grandchildren, Christy Korb,
Justin Selders, Andrew Trumbull, Heather Selders, Zach Trumbull, and Allyson Selders; 8
great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Nellie; sisters, Pauline, Irene, Lois, &
NancyJo; brothers, Claude, Richard, Howard, Robert, Roger, & Larry.
Bud worked for HJ Heinz as a warehouse operator and then moved on to the street maintenance department
for the Village of Weston, where he worked for 26 years. He was a life long member of the Weston Fire
Department and a retired Fire Chief. Bud enjoyed woodworking, camping, and watching the Cleveland
Indians. He will be dearly missed.
Memorial contributions in Bud’s honor may be gifted to Weston Fire Fighters Association and EMS or Bridge
Hospice Care Center of Bowling Green.
Visitation for Bud will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 4 p.m. until the time of his
Fireman’s Last Alarm Service at 7 p.m. at the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory 1460 W.
Wooster St., Bowling Green, OH 43402.
Bud’s funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment
will immediately follow at the Weston Cemetery.
