Kay Donna Conrad

Kay Donna Conrad, 67, of Findlay, and formerly of rural Deshler, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at
Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born May 24, 1952 in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Doyle and Florence (Rader) Bennett. On January 7,
1978 she married the love of her life, Eric Conrad, at Oakdale United Methodist Church, Deshler.
Kay graduated from McComb High School in 1970. She worked most of her life as a title clerk, most
recently at LaRiche Chevrolet, Findlay and previously for Thayer Chevrolet, Bowling Green.
She was a member of Oakdale United Methodist Church, Deshler, and after moving to Findlay, she joined
Gateway EPC Church. Kay was a talented seamstress and offered her services to many in her community.
What she was best at was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She helped baby-sit and raise her
grandchildren, giving them all the love she could give. She will forever be cherished by her family and
her faithful border collie, Maizy, who was always there when she needed another companion.
Kay is survived by her husband, Eric; daughter, Deserae (Michael) Patterson; grandchildren, Erica; Ella;
Michael Ezekiel; brother, Billy (Deb) Bennett; sisters, Connie (Bruce) Long, Bonnie (Don) Rosebrook and
Kathy (Don) Inman.
She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Erica Louise.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, with Ed Grable officiating. A
luncheon will immediately follow at Gateway Church, Findlay.
Burial will be private at West Belmore Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Youth For Christ or Gateway Church.
