Perrysburg Symphony Chorale presents holiday concert
PERRYSBURG – The Perrysburg Symphony Chorale will present a free concert of holiday music Saturday at 7
p.m. at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church on  East Boundary Street.   
The chorale will be joined by a children’s choir of 15 local singers, age 5 through 12.
The children’s choir will perform several selections accompanied by sleigh bells, jingle bells and melody
bells.  They will also accompany the chorale in "The Twelve Days of Christmas."  
The chorale will sing selections by John Rutter and Gustav Holst, as well as traditional music such as
"The Wexford Carol," "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" and other songs of the season.
A reception will follow the concert.
Footfalls showcases BGSU dance students
The Dance Program at Bowling Green State University will present its Footfalls Dance Concert today and
Friday at 8 p.m. in Eppler North room 222.
The performance will feature works of Dance Program technique classes and choreography by undergraduate
dance majors Amanda Blanc, Olivia King, Erynn Leff, Morgan Melchert, Taylor Raines, and Kelly Schmidt.

Footfalls features works in jazz, tap, hip hop, pointe and contemporary dance.
Tickets are $5 at the door.
Bakers’ music students to perform Christmas songs
The violin and piano students from the studio of Walter and Grace Baker will present a Christmas program
at Sterling House in Bowling Green Saturday at 2 p.m.
Grace Baker will feature duets featuring two generations of her violin students.
Kristen Bartelheim will perform with her 5-year-old daughter Brooklyn Hessey, and 10-year-old Estella
Burn will perform with her 24-year-old sister Cali.
Other performers are Manita Ojha, Elisabeth LaVerde and Katie Tyson.
‘Treasury of Carols’ on Choraliers’ Rossford program
ROSSFORD – The Oregon Choraliers will perform Sunday at 7 p.m.  at Rossford United Methodist Church, 270
Dixie Highway.
The program will include a medley of Christmas Songs and a cantata entitled "Treasury of
Carols."
‘Quartet’ on screen at Way
PERRYSBURG – The 2012 film "Quartet" will be screened as part of Way Public Library’s Reel Art
International and Art Film Series Friday at 7 p.m.
Directed by Dustin Hoffman, this  story takes place at a birthday concert at a home for retired
musicians. The arrival of Jean, an eternal diva, disrupts the event, and attendees begin to wonder,
"Does she deserve an encore?"
The film stars Maggie Smith, Tom Courtenay, Billy Connolly, Pauline Collins and Michael Gambon.

Holiday Jazz Jam on tap
TOLEDO – Pianist Kyle Turner will Holiday Jazz Jam Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Grand Plaza
Hotel, 444 N Summit St.
The guest included vocalist Ramona Collins with Vince Krolak, Tim Oehlers, Nelson Overton II and Lauren
Smith.
Cover charge is $25, $20 for members of the Art Tatum Jazz Society and $5 for students.
