Baker band at Stones ThrowThe Joe Baker Band with Bob Manley will be joined by an old friend
guitarist Ken Johnson when play at Stones Throw, 176 E. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Saturday from 8 to 11
p.m..Johnson graduated from Bowling Green, and went on to study at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. He
played with Manley in the bands Rail and Manley Smith.Band members are Baker on vocals and guitar, Manley,
saxophones, flute and keyboard, Wayne Smith, drums, and Tim Berry, bass.PRIZM opens Sam B’s showPRIZM
Creative Community has installed "Color Kaleidoscope," a new collection of art at Sam B’s
restaurant gallery in Bowling Green.An opening reception will be held Friday from 8 to 10 p.m. in the back
bar area of the restaurant, 163 S. Main S. Acoustic guitarist Bruce Lillie will perform during the
evening.The show features about 100 works including art quilts, bronze sculptures, wood, ceramic, glass,
stoneware, jewelry, photography and fine art in all media.Youth orchestras take stageTOLEDO – The Toledo
Symphony Youth Orchestra will perform Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle. The free
concert will feature the Philharmonic, Symphonic, and Concert Orchestras, under the direction of Ken
Thompson, Wasim Hawary, and Robert Mirakian.The TSYO currently serves 200 students from more than 40 schools
in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. They will perform works by Gustav Holst, Aaron Copland, J.S. Bach,
Franz Joseph Haydn, Bedrich Smetana, and Antonin Dvorak.Red Wanting Blue spends Valentine’s Day at
Howard’sColumbus-based rockers Red Wanting Blue will perform a Valentine’s Day show at Howard’s Club H, 210
North Main St., Bowling Green.Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 to $15.The band’s latest single is
"Stay On The Bright Side" from its new CD "From The Vanishing Point.In the past year Red
Wanting Blue: made its network TV debut on "Late Show with David Letterman"; had "Stay On The
Bright Side" as a Daily Download at Rolling Stone; and performed for the NPR program "Mountain
Stage.Cathedral hosts Vox ChoralisTOLEDO – Vox Choralis, from Cleveland, will perform Sunday at 3 p.m. in
Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, 2535 Collingwood Blvd.Directed by Dave Jaronowski, the
group specializes in Renaissance polyphony and contemporary choral literature of lesser known regional
composers. Vox Choralis is the professional choral ensemble in residence at Mary, Queen of Peace Parish in
Cleveland.A freewill offering will be accepted.MAUMEE – The Waterville Playshop’s production of the comedy
"Lend Me a Tenor" runs at the Maumee Indoor Theater Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at
