Area art on display in Toledo

TOLEDO – Works of art by 76 artists have been chosen for the 94th Toledo Area ArtistsExhibition at
the Toledo Museum of Art. Of the 642 works submitted, 94 were selected for the show.The juried exhibition
offers an eclectic mix of works in a variety of media.The exhibition opens Friday in the Works on Paper
Gallery after the awards ceremony at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Gallery.The show continues through April 14.
Admission is free.The TAA exhibition is also the longest running regional exhibition in the country.This
year eligibility was expanded to artists living within a 150-mile radius of the museum.Artist Joe Fig and
TMA Mellon Fellow Kate Nesin are serving as jurors for this year’s show.Exhibition awards, including Best of
Show and special prizes sponsored by the Toledo Federation of Art Societies, will be announced during
