Oktoberfest celebrated with dance at BGSUOktoberfest featuring Ted Lange’s Squeezebox featuring
Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist Mollie Busta will be held Oct. 24 from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. in the
Lenhart Grand Ballroom in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union on the Bowling Green State University campus.In
addition to polkas, the band will also play waltzes, foxtrots, two-steps and other styles.Beverages and
snacks will be provided.Dance lessons will be offered, and an brief program on the accordion as the main

union pay lot.PRIZM exhibit at Sam B’sPRIZM Creative Community, a local non-profit for the arts, has
installed a new exhibition of almost 200 pieces of fine art at Sam B’s restaurant gallery in 163 S. Main St.
in Bowling Green.An Opening Reception for the show, Lavish & Luxurious, will be held on Friday from
8-10 p.m. in the back bar area of the restaurant. Local musician Bruce Lillie will entertain.Psych Electro
Rock on tap at Terra JAM concertFREMONT – Terra Community College’s Jazz and American Music Series presents
"A Night of Psych Electro Rock" with the area bands Tree No Leaves and Silent Lions Saturday at 8
p.m. in the Recital Hall on campus.Tickets are $10. Call 419-559-2379.Opening the concert will be the
psych/electro rock band Tree No Leaves. The band started in Bowling Green in 2008 as a loop-based duo and is
now performing and recording as a quartet with more than 20 online releases.Headlining the show will be
Silent Lions, occasionally called the sinister twosome of Heavy Soul. Conceived in Toledo, this duo
simultaneously plays octave bass, sampled synths, drums and manipulated, atmospheric vocals to create music
that has been tagged as heavy soul and chill punk.A pre-concert presentation will be at 7 p.m.Cathedral
hosts organ recitalTOLEDO – Organist Yun Kyong Kim will perform Sunday at 3 p.m. on the 1931 E.M. Skinner
organ at Rosary Cathedral, 2535 Collingwood Blvd.Yun Kim has become known for her innovative programming and
virtuoso technique. The program includes will include a recently discovered "Piece pour Grand
Orgue" by the 19th century French organist and composer Cesar Franck as well as
"Resurrection," an Easter inspired work by Larry King who was director of music at Trinity Church,
New York.A freewill donation of $5 will be accepted at the door.Firenation presenting annual Pumpkin
BlowHOLLAND – Firenation Glass Studio and Gallery, 7166 Front St., will hold its annual Pumpkin Blow Friday
from 6 to 10 p.m.Leonard Marty, master glass instructor at the Toledo Museum of Art, will give a
glassblowing demonstration.
