BGSU string quartet plays St. Pat’s Day show at WayPERRYSBURG – Way Library will host the Bowling
Green State University Graduate String Quartet for a special free St. Patrick’s Day concert on the main
level of the library Sunday, at 2 p.m.Members of the quartet are: Xinya Zhou, cello, Vladimir Gebe, violin,
Kyla Witt, viola, and Kai-Wei Chen, violin.On the program will be: Freanz Schubert’s Quartet in C Minor;
Bedrich Smetana’s Quartet in E Minor "From My Life," and Czech composer Erwin Schulhoff’s
"Five Pieces for String Quartet."In observance of the Irish holiday, the quartet will entertain
with classical arrangements of the stirring "Londonderry Air," "You Raise Me Up," and
"When Irish Eyes Are Smiling."Perrysburg troupe casts ‘Joseph’ at March auditionsPERRYSBURG –
Auditions for the Perrysburg Musical Theatre’s production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat" will be held March 23 and 24 at the Next Stage Studios.Auditions will be on March 23 from 10
a.m.-12:30 p.m. for children ages 6-13. Callback dance auditions for children will be from 12:30-2 p.m the
same day. There will be no callbacks for children’s choir.Auditions for adult males ages 13 and up will be
March 23 from 2:30 p.m.- 4 p.m; and adult women auditions for ages 13 and up will be from 4 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
Adult callbacks will be March 24 at 1 p.m.Children will be singing a song from the show that will be posted

Boo," a documentary about the author of "To Kill a Mockingbird," will be shown at Way Library
Thursday March 21 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a discussion as part of the Reel Opinions series.The series is
offered in conjunction with WGTE Public Media.The "American Masters" documentary chronicles how
"To Kill a Mockingbird" came to be written and provides the context and history of the Deep South
where it is set. It also gives new insight into the life and mind of Harper Lee, including why she never
published again.The film will be shown at 10:30 a.m., and a discussion will immediately follow.Glass egg

concertPERRYSBURG – The Bowling Green State University Men’s Chorus will perform a concert of sacred and
secular music at First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Second St., at 3 p.m. this Sunday.The program spans
from classical music to African folkdance, from Benjamin Britten to barbershop, and from German part-songs
to spirituals. The program includes Britten’s "The Ballad of Little Musgrave," Franz Schubert’s
"Die Nacht," Ola Gjeilo’s "Ubi Caritas et Amor," Nancy Hill Cobb’s "And Draw Her
Home with Music," "Kpanlongo" with African percussion, motets by Thomas Tallis and G.F.
