PIONEER – Volunteers are helping to create a new cabin, "Rob’s Cabin" at
4-H Camp Palmer.
The target date for completion of the new cabin is sometime this spring. When
finished it will be a year-round facility with a capacity of 20 to 25, and its
layout will give the camp more programming options, including retreat groups,
church groups, more youth for summer camp, outdoor education school groups and
family reunions or other parties.
The new cabin features a meeting room and a handicapped accessible bathroom and
showers.
The cabin incorporates a number of energy saving technologies.
Additional donations of time and money are still needed for Camp Palmer.
For more information, contact the office at (419) 237-2247.
