TODAY
Jazz Week at BGSU concludes with a concert by the Jazz Lab Band 1 featuring noted
jazz saxophonist Steve Wilson at 8 p.m. in Kobacker Hall of the Moore Musical
Arts Center.
SATURDAY
The Chamber Orchestra hosts "BG Funharmonia" as part of the Young People’s
Concert series at 11 a.m. in Kobacker Hall. The orchestra performs Ravel’s
whimsical "Mother Goose Suite," complete with dancers. Tickets are $2
for adults and $1 for children and are available at the door 30 minutes before

SUNDAY
Gish Film Theater offers a double feature at the 3 p.m. Sunday Matinee in Hanna Hall.
The first film is "The Waiters’ Ball" (1916), directed by Roscoe
"Fatty" Arbuckle. The second is the 1925 version of "Phantom of
the Opera."
The Bowling Green Philharmonia and University Choral Society perform Mozart’s
"Requiem" at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in
Toledo at 7:30 p.m. A free will offering will be collected.
MONDAY
Susan D’Amato, an associate professor of drawing at Syracuse University, will give an
ARTalk at 7:30 p.m. in 1101 Fine Arts Center.
Architect Thomas Christoffersen of the architectural firm BIG, based in New York and
Copenhagen, Denmark, will discuss his recent works in an ARTalk at 6:30 p.m. in
206 Bowen-Thompson Student Union.
TUESDAY
Guest bassoonist Kristin Wolfe Jensen performs at 5 p.m. in the Wooster Center, 1124
E. Wooster St.
The 1975 film "The Stepford Wives," directed by Bryan Forbes, will be
screened at 7:30 p.m. in the Gish Film Theater.
Music at the Manor House continues with a performance by Matthew Deline’s viola
students at 7:30 p.m. in Wildwood Metropark, Toledo.
WEDNESDAY
Alarm Will Sound, a 20-member new music ensemble, will perform at 8 p.m. in Kobacker
Hall. A free forum begins at 7:15 in Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical
Arts Center. Ticket prices range from $17-$36. For more information, call (419)

THURSDAY
Alarm Will Sound will read compositions by student composers from 10 a.m. to 1:15
p.m. followed by a question and answer session starting at 1:30 p.m. both in
Kobacker Hall.
Visiting writer Sarah Gambito reads from her poetry at 7:30 p.m. in Prout Chapel.
AT THE GALLERIES
The BFA Senior Thesis Exhibition continues in the Dorothy Uber Bryan and Willard
Wankelman galleries in the Fine Arts Center through April 3. Gallery hours are
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
