River House opens exhibit
PERRYSBURG – A Winter Salon of Gallery Artists and Friends will open tonight from 5
to 9 p.m. at River House Arts, 115 W. Front St.
The show includes almost 200 items by 22 artists. Included are artists new to the
gallery, Sayaka Ganz and John Elkerr.
The show continues through Jan. 25. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday
through Saturday and by appointment. Call (419) 874-8900.
PRIZM art & poems at Way
PERRYSBURG – "Seeing is Believing," an exhibit of visual art and poetry
sponsored by the PRIZM Creative Community, at Way Public Library.
On exhibit are:
• Photographer J.D. Jensen’s panoramic views landscapes including those of Yosemite
and Horseshoe Bend National Monument.
• David Kolasky’s glass and metal wall hangings
• Mary Anne Nicholson’s pottery including "Lacey Lady," a thrown pot
embellished with lace and woven baskets incorporating dyed pine needles, thread
and nuts.
• Kate Argow’s jewelry designed around stones.
• Kevin Baker’s poetry exploring themes of sports, family and caring for a loved one
suffering memory loss.
• Soon Jin Lee’s poetry reflecting on Korean culture and iconic religious symbolism.

‘Old Fashioned Christmas’ set
WATERVILLE – Waterville Playshop will present "Old Fashion Christmas"
featuring Jukebox Saturday Night and friends Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran
Church, 22 N Second St,
Admission is free. Non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the Anthony
Wayne Food Bank will be accepted.
Luke Bryan tickets on sale
TOLEDO – Tickets go on sale Friday for country star Luke Bryan’s "Dirt Road
Diaries Tour" show at the Huntington Center in Toledo Feb, 15.
Bryan hits the road on his first tour fresh off his artist of the year win in the
American Country Awards. Joining him will be Thompson Square and Florida Georgia
Line.
