BGSU screens polka flickThe International Film Series at Bowling Green State
University presents a free screening of "Polka Film (Polka! The
Movie)" tonight at 7:30 in the Gish Film Theater of Hanna Hall.Directed by
Dusan Moravec, the film outlines how Cleveland-style polka music became a huge
hit at World War II, thanks to its emergence from Cleveland’s Slovenian

Rep presents ‘The War of the Worlds"TOLEDO – The Toledo Rep will reenact
the radio broadcast "The War of the Worlds" Friday and Saturday at 8

Series, Kate Argow directs the play based on the H.G. Wells novel.When first
broadcast in 1938, "The War of the Worlds" the play sparked panic

exhibitTOLEDO – Visitors are invited to come to the Toledo Museum of Art dressed
as their favorite movie stars and get a free ticket to "Made in Hollywood:
Photographs from the John Kobal Foundation," on Saturday.Costumed visitors
should use the Grove Place entrance, walk the red carpet and be photographed
before making their way to the exhibition.The 90nimages in "Made in
Hollywood" focus on the stars, the sets and the scenes created by the
American film industry and captured by the most important Hollywood studio
photographers between 1920 and 1960.Regular admission to the show for nonmembers
is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors (ages 65 and older) and students (ages

Musical" returns to the Valentine Theatre for weekend shows starting Friday
and continuing through Nov. 10 in the Studio A Theatre.The live stage show about
five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods, and accidentally
unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons combines all of the
elements of the cult classic horror films "Evil Dead", "Evil Dead
