Creative Writing Program’s Reading Series at 7:30 p.m. in the Bowen-Thompson
Student Union Theater. Forch?© is the author of four books of poetry and has won
the Los Angeles Times Book Award.FRIDAY & SUNDAYThe BGSU Opera Theater
presents a twist on Henry Purcell’s "Dido and Aeneas," turning the
tragic characters into modern-day high school students Friday at 8 p.m.and
Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Donnell Theatre of the Wolfe Center for the Arts.
Featuring additional music from the composer’s "Masque of Love," the
production addresses adolescent bullying, substance abuse and suicide. To

Symphony will "Strike Up the Band" in the next Young People’s Concert,
at 11 a.m. in Kobacker Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center. Tickets are $2 for

the performance. The concert is recommended for children over 5; parents are
encouraged to attend.SUNDAY"The Night of the Demon," starring Dana
Andrews and Peggy Cummins, will be shown at 3 p.m. in the Gish Film Theater.

continues in the Willard Wankelman Gallery at the Fine Arts Center through Nov.

Thursdays, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.The "SAFA Glass Exhibit SAGA"
exhibition continues through Nov. 7 in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union at BGSU.
