Bowling Green State University faculty member Dave Bixler has an arrangement on the Grammy nominated CD
"40 Acres and a Burro."
The CD by Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra is nominated for Best Large Jazz Ensemble
Album. The awards will be announced Sunday.
Bixler, of Bowling Green, arranged the traditional Irish tune "She Moves Through the Fair." The
song also features Bixler’s wife, Heather Bixler on violin.
Bixler has a long association with O’Farrill and the orchestra.
