Harold L. Carstensen, Sr. age 68, of Perrysburg Township and a resident of Heartland of Waterville for
the past seven years, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
He was born on July 31, 1943 to Clarence and Helen Carstensen.
He was employed with the Perrysburg Schools, where he retired in 2001 and was a former volunteer for the
Perrysburg Township Fire Dept.
Harold was a former member of Five Points Steam Thrushers, Power of Yesteryear and S.C.R.A.P.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 41 years, Margaret (Schlegel) Carstensen; son, Harold
Carstensen, Jr., daughter, Pam (Craig) Weible; brothers, Vernon of Port Clinton, OH, Robert of
Perrysburg, OH and James Carstensen of Maumee, OH; sister, Mabel Friess. Also surviving are three
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Saturday,
October 29, 2011 from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services and Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
