11:30 a.m. Dominoes and Euchre Tournament: Lunch served at 12:30 p.m.
No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the
cost. Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute. A $2 suggested
donation is appreciated for lunches. Dinner is served at the Wood County Senior Center on Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. and reservations are needed by 2 p.m. of that day. The

ADVANCE PLANNING
High Seas Celebration: Sept. 20 from 4:30-7 p.m. at the sounty senior center in Bowling Green. Travel to
three different ports and enjoy their different cuisines. The "cruise ship" will stop in
England, Ireland, and Scotland. Selected entertainment will be featured at each stop. Sponsored by
SouthernCare, Inc. Boarding passes are $7 per person, registration and payment required by calling the

New Adventures group: "For Those Who Find Themselves Again" – starting on Sept. 27 and then the
fourth Tuesday of each month, from 6-8 p.m. at the county senior center. The first meeting will
"Explore the Art of Relaxation and Conversations." Series is for those who are widowed,
divorced, or single of any age. Participants will be issued a passport to collect stamps for
educational, social, and recreational events they take part in throughout the year. Each individual will
be eligible for entry into a tiered drawing based on the number of stamps they received at the end of
the year. The journeys vary and each one enables you to receive a stamp. Registration required.
"Where Do I Turn, Part 2 – Protect Your Assets, Plan Ahead, & Follow Your Wishes" –
Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Location sponsored by Wood County Job and Family Services, 1928 E. Gypsy
Lane Road, Bowling Green. Lunch sponsored by BG Manor. Interactive seminar will cover topics pertaining
to long-term care planning, Medicare, Medicaid and estate planning along with an opportunity to obtain
