Elmwood 1966 reunion slated
The Elmwood High School Class of 1966 will hold their 45-year class reunion on Sept. 30 at the EHS
football homecoming game.
Prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff, a chicken barbecue will be available between 4:30 and 6. After the game, a
social gathering and bonfire will be held at John and Luella (Lee) McEwen’s home at 6860 Cygnet Road.
Those attending should bring their own lawn chairs and favorite snack.

Pregnancy Center Walk for Life Saturday
The Bowling Green Pregnancy Center will host the annual Walk for Life this Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at
Bowling Green City Park.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. at the park’s stone shelter. All area adults and children are invited to
participate in the two-mile walk around the park.
Funds raised will help support operating costs for the local pregnancy center. Its mission is to aid
those with needs related to sexuality, pregnancy, adoption, or post-abortion trauma.
