TODAY
The New Music and Art Festival presents "60 x 60," a video concert featuring 60 composers, 60
seconds each, all with video, at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center.
WEDNESDAY
The "Focus High School Exhibition" continues through Sept. 18 at the Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery
in the Fine Arts Center. The exhibit displays work from 201 high school artists from northwest Ohio and
southeast Michigan. Free.
Sean Cooper, bass-baritone, and Jane Schoonmaker Rodgers, soprano, will perform music by Brahms, Mozart,
Faur?©, Daugherty, Purcell and Debussy at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall.
THURSDAY
Master of Fine Arts students poet Beth McKinney and fiction writer James Dunham will be read from their
work as part of the Prout Chapel Reading Series from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Prout Chapel.
SEPT. 7
Trumpeter Charles Saenz will perform music by Ravel, Shchedrin, Torelli, Martinu, and Pilss at 8 p.m. in
Bryan Recital Hall.
SEPT. 8
Master of Fine Arts students poet Paul Rodgers and fiction writer Eric Schlich will be read from their
work as part of the Prout Chapel Reading Series from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Prout Chapel.
SEPT. 9
"Fresh Ohio Exhibition" opens with a reception at 8:30 p.m. in the Willard Wankleman Gallery of
the Fine Arts Center. The exhibit featuring work by Andy Buck, Bob Lazuka, Ellen Price and Leslie Shiels
will run through Oct. 18. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; 6-9 p.m.
Thursdays, and from 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
Photographer Marcella Hackbardt, from Kenyon, Ohio, will discuss her recent works at an ArtTalk from 7 to
8 p.m. in 1101 Fine Arts Center.
